Jeff Han on TED Talks

Back

www.paikia.com Jeff Han is a research scientist for NYU's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Here, he demonstrates—for the first time publicly—his intuitive, "interface-free," touch-driven computer screen, which can be manipulated intuitively with the fingertips, and responds to varying levels of pressure. Now integrate it in voting machines and make the liars forever stop. There is no excuse for the inaccuracy in the screens they presently use.

Awesome. I think computer aided design/modeling in all fields need this technology. and soon. (physics, architecture, biology, etc.)

This is amazing! The closest thing I can think of is the "dream editor" in Minority Report - I bet this guy was a member of Spielberg's future design think tank.

Am I the only person who noticed the "penis guy" he draws near the end? Watching it wiggle is just too funny.
