Damn right, speaking as someone who's been there, almost all people who suffer from addiction have an underlying reason for doing what they do,(drugs or alcohol). And until they deal with their personal shit and put it behind them the best you can do for that person is to support them.
Beating them down solves NOTHING.

To all of you who feel you can trash someone for having their personal demons, maybe you should try walking in their shoes. You can't save the world by downing people, it just shows you for the assholes that you are. Nuff said. The women can sing and all we can do is support her in her struggles to get clean.
