Targus Keyboard with PiKey on PSP

I have been getting a lot of questions about this video lately. First off, in this video my PSP firmware is 3.10 OE. To use this software, you must have custom firmware because it is unofficial and makes use of the PSP's homebrew capabilities. The latest version of PiKey (0.3) is confirmed working up to version 3.40 OE-A and is confirmed NOT working on Dark Alex's latest custom firmware (3.71 M33). However, an unofficial team is working on an update that will let it work for that latest version (plus it adds some additional features). I will post when that is released. Thank you.

This video shows how useful "PiKey" is on the PSP. This is an initial beta release by Fanjita and his development team over at Check it out!

What you need:
A Targus Universal Wireless (IR) Keyboard
PiKey software (get it at the noobz site)
PSP (duh)

I got mine at Newegg, I'm pretty sure you can get this at Amazon or eBay too.

One other question. Did u use pikey on version 3.40 OE-A, and if you did how do you know if its active. And secondly do u still use your targus universal wireless and if so with which plugin,software?

I am on 3.90 M33, will this work with the keyboard and btw what is the latest pikey available

The latest Pikey is still 0.3 official. An unofficial version came out called 0.4, but I don't think it will work with that firmware. I personally haven't used Pikey since I made this video a year ago...

i am enjoying my afkim... but theres one slight thing i dont like about it.... you only have a limited space to write...is this true or is there some button you can press to be able to scroll down the text bar...?

I don't think so. I noticed the same thing last time I used it. Unfortunately you will probably just have to send separate messages, unless I'm completely missing something.
