I have been researching them for a while now and I would really love to have one. They seem like very friendly creatures ^.^

The thing is, do you know if they are legal to keep as pets in BC Canada? I know there are breeders here but I can't seem to find if its legal.

I live in Columbia, South Carolina USA where would I need to go on line to find out the laws of BC Canada? What about calling your local Vet and asking them what the law is there? What about asking the breeders that you know of there in BC Canada? Wish I could answer your question, but you see, I do not live in Canada so, why would I know the answer to your question?

hi, Im getting a sugar glider in a week but I go to south america very frequently. Is it ok to keep them in a traveler cage or a bonding/sleeping pouch on flights? the flight is about 3 hours long if your wondering.

Here is a question for you. What are the animal quarantine laws in South America? Also, what will Customs say to you when you try to return? Will US Customs allow you to return with "EXOTIC ANIMALS"? Your answer is if you bond with them properly they will be just fine on a 2, 4, 6, 8, hour long flight. Can you get them "cleared and authorized" by both Countries and the Airlines to fly to and from with you?

Sugar Gliders are "EXOTIC ANIMALS" and here in the US no one can sell a Sugar Glider without a USDA LICENSE. If you do sell a Sugar Glider here in the US without having your USDA LICENSE then you just broke the Federal Law. It is not worth the price you will have to pay if you get caught selling an EXOTIC ANIMAL without the proper license.

Any time I see someone say "where do i get one" it really ticks me off. The reason why is because it is telling me you have no clue about them and you should not even consider getting any until you have done lots of research ON YOUR OWEN FIRST. DO NOT ACT ON YOUR IMPULSE TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN ABOUT THE ANIMALS FIRST. It's because if people acting on impulse that lots of animals suffer horrible and tragic lives. THE ANIMALS SHOULD COME FIRST. Not it's so cute where can I get ONE!
