Tom's Hardware Overclock - 5255Mhz

Back

An overclock to 5Ghz at a time when such a goal was unimaginable, Tom's Hardware produced this clip and ever since its factualness has been much debated. They apparently use a Pentium 4 with ASUS P4C800-E, MSI GeForce FX5950 Ultra, Corsair DDR550 Pro, Liquid Nitrogen for the CPU and an Asetek Vapochill for the Northbridge. But whether or not it actually ever happened it still is a cool movie well worth watching!

I have a 3.4 and it struggles to get 3.8 or even 4...

Probably will never get 10Ghz, we are looking more at a multi-core future.

Sure does, my server room often hits 40+ deg C, when I forget to leave the cooling on :)

Was that thermal paste enough on cpu to transfer the heat from cpu to heatsink?.
AaronNicoli (August 6, 2008 at 9:33 am)
Yes.

hahaha you have no idea what you are talking about.

also take your "liquid oxygen" and replace it with Liquid Nitrogen next time.

White compound for that??
I would demend the compound to be at least 50% pure silver.
