I was born and have lived most of my life in this town. I would have to say that you have captured the essence of San Diego almost perfectly.

San Diego's city government is corrupt. They pay the Chargers $1million a week to play ball in the city's stadium, but when the food bank had a devastating fire, leaving 10 thousand families hungry, they only coughed up a one time payment of $75,000.

I have lived in San Diego all my life and it is a wonderful place for a 12 year old like me. I don't think i want to ever move away.

whats it like living there
padresgirlio (November 12, 2008 at 10:39 pm)
actually, it's pretty amazing. The weather is great, though unpredictable. I luv the beaches. During the weekends there r so many places to go. Like: downtown, the beaches, seaport village, old town, or just even to the mall! I actually live in Eastlake which is located in east chula vista right above the border. Evec though it's pretty pricey where i live, about 600,000 for a 5 bedroom home, it's totally worth it!
